چکیده

This work investigates the performance of a laser-powered unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) based hybrid wireless network consisting UAV-mounted base station (UAV-BS), cellular user, low-power IoT and secondary group multiple devices. Communication among these devices takes place in two different phases. In first phase transmission, UAV-BS fulfills its power requirements by harvesting from distributed laser charging-based transfer uses non-orthogonal access (NOMA) signaling to transmit information both users. Further, second user harvests using power-splitting (PS) protocol it communicate with selected device, signal interference-plus-noise ratio selection strategy network, while transmits uplink UAV-BS. We discuss effect non-linear energy on Next, we analyze proposed system deriving closed-form expressions outage probabilities, throughput, ergodic capacity users, Furthermore, find optimal values coefficient target rates that maximize throughput attaining desired for user. also demonstrate judicious choice allocation is essential order sum hence efficiency. Simulation results verify accuracy derived validate effectiveness algorithms.

Nonlinear energy harvesting through a multimodal electro-mechanical system

A semi-analytical method is used to illustrate the behavior of a multimodal nonlinear electromechanical system which is under base-excitation. System is considered as piezo-ceramic patches attached to a cantilever beam coupled to a resistive load. The cantilever beam is modeled as a nonlinear Timoshenko beam using Assumed Mode method and equations of motion are derived through Lagrange's equati...

Energy-Efficient D2D Communications Underlaying NOMA-Based Networks with Energy Harvesting

This letter investigates the resource allocation problem in device-to-device (D2D) communications underlaying a non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA)-based cellular network, where both cellular users and D2D users harvest energy from the hybrid access point in the downlink and transmit information in the uplink. We propose a low-complexity iterative algorithm to maximize the energy efficiency o...

Nonlinear Energy Harvesting

The concept of harvesting electrical energy from ambient vibration sources has been a popular topic of research in recent years. The motivation behind this research is largely due to recent advancements in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technology specifically the construction of small low powered sensors which are capable of being placed in inaccessible or hostile environments. The main...

Nonlinear energy harvesting.

Ambient energy harvesting has been in recent years the recurring object of a number of research efforts aimed at providing an autonomous solution to the powering of small-scale electronic mobile devices. Among the different solutions, vibration energy harvesting has played a major role due to the almost universal presence of mechanical vibrations. Here we propose a new method based on the explo...
